What is a trunk divider and what does it do?

A Travall Trunk divider allows you to split your Trunk space into two compartments - one for your dog and one for luggage, it can also be used to separate dogs that need their own space whilst travelling.

Do I need a dog guard to use a trunk divider?

Yes - Travall Trunk Dividers are designed to attach to a Travall Dog Guard and are not compatible with other barriers or standalone use.

Where are Travall Trunk Dividers made?

They are designed and manufactured in Derby, UK.

Can a trunk divider be installed at home? Is fitting difficult?

Yes - installation is intended to be simple and done at home. The divider clips/attaches to your dog guard in minutes, with no modifications required.

Can I remove the divider when I don’t need it?

Yes - it can be easily removed when not in use, giving you the full trunk space back.

Why do some dividers only fit in the middle position of the trunk?

Some older or more constrained designs have a fixed position because of the trunk's shape or roof slope. Travall’s newer designs use a clamping system that allows repositioning, but in some vehicles multiple positions may not be feasible.

Is the trunk divider adjustable (e.g. multiple bracket positions)?

Yes - many Travall dividers allow up to three different bracket positions so you can change how the trunk is split.

Will the divider rattle or shake when driving?

No - we design our products to be rattle-free, once correctly installed.

What materials and finish does the divider use?

The divider is constructed from mild steel with a nylon powder-coated finish that is anti-scratch, bite-resistant and non-toxic.

Does the divider come with a warranty?

Yes - Travall Trunk Dividers come with a lifetime warranty covering manufacturing defects.

Can I still use a trunk liner or floor mat with the divider installed?

Yes - trunk dividers are compatible with Travall’s Trunk Liners and other trunk accessories.

Do trunk dividers fit hybrid or electric models?

Some dividers are specific to certain versions of a vehicle (for example, non-hybrid only). Always check the model details on the product page.
