Mercedes CLS Shooting Brake Boot Divider (2012-2018)

The product received and installed is clearly a quality product, I think justifying the price, as these are not cheap. The first rear guard had a manufacturing flaw which meant we couldn’t assemble and install. The contact, comms and response with Trav all was faultless and their resolution by return and replacement of the whole item was rapid. The fit in the car is good and installation is easy and straightforward. Very pleased with the product.

This dog guard and divider is a high quality product. The assembly and installation is not a 5 minute job, but it is straightford as long as you follow the installation instructions carefully. The end product is pretty impressive, everything feels very safe and secure. The fit is absolutely perfect, looks great too.

The guard falls over all the time and doesn’t secure very well. Feel like I’ve wasted my hard earned money

Absolutely thrilled with this product, fits the car perfectly and no rattling noise whilst driving, keeps my boy safe and the tailgate is great as this stops him from jumping out the boot before I'm ready for him to.

Contacted customer service with queries which was answered. Ordered that day and delivered next day. Really easy to fit and good quality

Have fitted and owned four different Travall dog guards over the years. This one once fitted is secure and looks good but the left and right support legs are not labelled and initially this made it impossible to get into the car, a simple L/R label on the legs themselves or the shrink wrap packaging could avoid this. Also not so keen on the hooks which attach to the lashing points via the rods on this one, they are brass coloured (not colour matched to guard like previous) AND more importantly they have sharp points which jut out into the boot compartment, so potentially could injure any dogs who move around during transit (mine doesn't so will be OK). So called "vehicle specific" fitting instruction video was for a Passat which was quite different from my Golf. Fast dispatch but slow third party courier service meant my parcel sat in local depot for 2 working days prior to delivery.

The rear guard attaches via a bracket fixed under the tie down points and into a notch in the car roof so it’s secure. The guard is well made and has a nice grey coating though it’s not clear from the website pics just how good the guard looks. The fitting instructions could be clearer and a video would help but I worked it out. I was able to fit the Land Rover discovery 5 quilted load space liner VPLRS0536 and you can still use the retractable boot cover when the guard is installed. Once you fit the divider you cannot use the cover and you’ll need to remove the small cover on the tail gate itself. But it’s easy to remove and add in the divider when you have your doggy passenger! Well worth the money!

Easy to install and makes transporting my two dogs so much less stressful

Purchased to keep dogs safe in the back and to still allow other cargo- perfect product. Now looking to add the gate aswell.

Recieved the dog guard promptly, the instructions were clear and easy to follow leaving the car undamaged and the dogs secured. It doesn't rattle when driving and provides a good place to hang leads, collars on the cage itself. Nothing to complain about after using for a while

We have a senior dog and a puppy, naturally the puppy annoys our senior and so we separate them in the car. We used to do this by putting the puppy in a crate but this didn't leave a lot of room for our other dog. We were umming and arghing for ages about ordering due to the cost but I'm so glad we did! The quality is second to none, it's as if the car boot was made bespoke to our needs now and my pups love having their own spaces! Have already recommended to all my dog parents!

Brilliant. Easy to fit and adjust for floor roof space. Allows for a dogmattress to slip under thr entire space too. Brilliant for keeping dogs separate on their own space or your pets and luggage separate and safe.

Dog guard is fantastic and very solid while still allowing the seats to be dropped. The fit of the divider isn't quite exact so a bit of forcing is required which would be an issue if you're removing and refitting on a regular basis.

Purchased to add to our original boot/car divider as we grow our family and need boot soace for both a dog, and a pram! Set on the 60/40 split, enough space for the dog and dog bed on the bigger side and a pram on the other, without worry of falling over !
